Plans are moving forward at warp speed for this years' inaugural
Southeast Scots Irish Festival and Games. For those of you who have expressed interest, here's the scoop; for those who didn't know yet – you don't want to miss out!
This year's festival and games brings a full Highland Games (75+
athletes), Piping Competition (8 bands), Sheep dog herding
demonstrations, Celtic harp demonstrations, heraldry and genealogy, historical reenactment, food and beverage (stout), 20+ clans, 20+ vendors, Irish step dancing, and music from acclaimed bands such as The Prodigals, Seven Nations, and The Mahones, and a whiskey tasting Saturday night.
Dates are March 7,8,9 with all activities taking place at the new City of Anderson Recreation Center at 1107 N. Murray Avenue in revitalized Downtown Anderson. This event is sure to include something for everyone. Additional details are being added daily to our website at www.scotsirishfest.com
Times for band performances are TBA based on their travel arrangements but all three major celtic bands are planned for a Friday pm performance and Saturday as well.

day of for $15.00 single day, or $30.00 for the three day pass (anyone over 12 years old).
